Check file and folder ownership using SSH at Hostinger by connecting to your hosting plan and running the ls -l command in the folder you want to check. Each file’s owner should match your hosting username. Contact Hostinger support to fix the ownership if it doesn’t match.<\/p>

Step 2 – Connect to SSH for your hosting<\/h2>

Step 3 – Run commands in SSH<\/h2>

Once connected, you will need to access the folder where you wish to check file ownerships, which can be done with the help of the cd<\/b> command. To learn more about basic SSH commands check this article: Common SSH commands at Hostinger.<\/a><\/p>

Once this is done, you will use the command below to list all files in your folder:<\/p>

ls -l<\/code><\/pre>
And then a list will be shown with all the files that are inside your folder with various details such as permission, ownership, creation date, and so on:<\/p>
