Domains that have been <b>recently<\/b> registered or transferred can only be unlocked <b>after 60 days<\/b> from the registration or the last transfer date.<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">The process of unlocking can vary depending on the registrar. To <b>unlock a domain registered at Hostinger<\/b>, navigate to the <b><a href=\"https:\/\/hpanel.hostinger.com\/domains\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"intercom-content-link\" rel=\"noopener\">Domains<\/a><\/b> section of hPanel and click on <b>Manage<\/b> next to the domain:<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/55\/2021\/01\/cea83ac2-b38b-4e48-9535-b170497ab4d4.jpg\" alt=\"The Manage button in the Domains section\"><\/div><p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">In the <b>Domain Overview <\/b>section, find the <b>Transfer lock <\/b>and click on the toggle to <b>unlock<\/b> your domain for transfer:<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><div class=\"intercom-container intercom-align-center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/55\/2021\/01\/8c4224d7-c882-4443-8770-8658869cb0f1.jpg\" width=\"473\"><\/div><p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">Once you change the domain status, whether from locked to unlocked or vice versa, you need to wait for <b>12 hours<\/b> before reverting the change, if needed.<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">If the domain <b>automatically locks again <\/b>after clicking on the toggle, it indicates that unlocking is currently not possible.
