To set it up, log in to your hPanel, click on the <b>profile icon<\/b>, and choose <b>Security<\/b>:<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><div class=\"intercom-container intercom-align-center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/55\/2021\/02\/955ab972-10d9-4ef5-b83c-5dd83b3c8730.jpg\"><\/div><p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">On the <b>Security <\/b>page, you will see the list of available 2FA methods: <a href=\"#h_f7c0ad5e05\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"intercom-content-link\">application<\/a> and <a href=\"#h_96b0a94ea7\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"intercom-content-link\">email<\/a>. Since only one 2FA method can be active at a time, select the most suitable one for you by clicking on its tab and then click on <b>Enable<\/b>:<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/55\/2021\/02\/1fcfbaa3-cd96-40c8-94c0-5829485febf5.jpg\"><\/div><div class=\"intercom-interblocks-callout\" style=\"background-color: #e3e7fa80;border-color: #334bfa33\">\n<p class=\"no-margin\">The <b>application authentication<\/b> <b>method <\/b>is highly recommended as it provides more security compared to email authentication &#128274; <\/p>\n<\/div><p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><h2 id=\"h_f7c0ad5e05\">Application authentication<\/h2><p class=\"no-margin\">This is our <b>recommended<\/b> method. First, you will need to install an authenticator app on your mobile device, such as&nbsp;<b><a href=\"https:\/\/authy.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"intercom-content-link\" rel=\"noopener\">Authy<\/a><\/b>&nbsp;or&nbsp;<b><a href=\"https:\/\/nordpass.com\/personal-password-manager\/\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"intercom-content-link\" rel=\"noopener\">NordPass<\/a><\/b>.<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">After choosing the <b>Application<\/b> authentication method, you will receive a <b>confirmation code <\/b>in your registered email. Enter the code and click on <b>Confirm<\/b>. Next, scan the QR code with your mobile application and enter the numeric code it will generate:<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><div class=\"intercom-container\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/55\/2021\/02\/f2c6c15e-ef94-403f-b545-dbed5e5a2b1b.jpg\"><\/div><p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">After verifying, you will be presented with <b>backup codes<\/b> to use if you lose your device. Make sure to <b>save or download them<\/b>. Eventually, click on <b>Finish setup<\/b>.<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\"><b>NOTES<\/b><\/p><ul>\n<li>\n<p class=\"no-margin\">Backup codes are only <b>shown once<\/b>. Just click on the <b>profile icon <\/b>on your panel,<b> <\/b>choose <b>Security<\/b>,<b> <\/b>and select <b>Disable<\/b>:<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><div class=\"intercom-container intercom-align-center\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/55\/2021\/02\/43906273-b63f-47e0-8b02-c8c63082f0fc.jpg\"><\/div><p class=\"no-margin\">\n<\/p><p class=\"no-margin\">Next, select the method to disable: using your original method (application or email) or using a backup code, and click <b>Continue<\/b>.
