When you first activate your VPS order<\/a> <\/b>right after purchase, <\/b>you get the option to choose the VPS operating system (OS). If you want to change the OS template for an already active order, you can do so in a few clicks.<\/p>

Changing or reinstalling the operating system on your VPS will permanently delete all your current data, including the snapshot, if there is any. Make sure to download a backup via FTP beforehand if you wish to keep your information.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Change the operating system<\/h2>

To change your current OS template for a different one, navigate to the VPS<\/a> <\/b>section of your hPanel and click on Manage<\/b> next to the server:<\/p>

You will reach the VPS dashboard<\/a><\/b>. Expand the OS & Panel<\/b> section on the sidebar and select Operating System<\/b>. There, you will find three tabs:<\/p>
