When you set up<\/a><\/b> your first Minecraft server, it starts off with a freshly generated world. In case you already have your own world and want to import it to your server, you can easily do it by following these steps:<\/p>

Step 1 – Prepare your world file<\/h2>

First, locate your world file according to your operating system:<\/p>

    Press the Windows Key (Start)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  2. \n

    Type in %appdata%<\/b> and press enter<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  3. \n

    Open the .minecraft<\/b> folder and then go to the saves<\/b> folder<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  4. \n

    Find your save and drag the folder to your desktop<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>

    Mac OS<\/h3>

      Click on the Spotlight button in the menu bar. It looks like a magnifying glass. Or, use the Command+Space keyboard shortcut<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    2. \n

      Paste ~\/Library\/Application Support\/minecraft<\/b> into the search bar<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    3. \n

      Open the saves<\/b> folder and drag the world to your desktop <\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>

      Once you have located your world folder and copied it to an accessible location, rename it to a name that will help you easily locate it, using only lowercase letters<\/b>.<\/p>

      \n<\/p>

      Then, archive or compress it into a .zip<\/b> file so it can be uploaded in the next step. <\/p>

      Step 2- Upload your world<\/h2>

      Log in to your Game Panel<\/b> and stop the instance. Next, double-click the instance to Manage<\/b>:<\/p>

      Choose File Manager <\/b>from the left side menu:<\/p>

      Next, right-click<\/b> the current world folder<\/b> and choose Trash<\/b> to delete it:<\/p>

      Grab your new world’s .zip<\/b> file and drag it to the File Manager<\/b> window:<\/p>

      Once your world .zip file is uploaded, you’ll need to extract it by using right-click<\/b> and then Extract<\/b>:<\/p>
