This means you do not manage the underlying codebase directly, and traditional file management methods such as FTP, SSH, or the File Manager are not supported for editing site files.<\/p><h2 id=\"h-hosting-storage-and-limits\">Hosting storage and limits<\/h2><p>The Hostinger AI Builder has a separate storage system; therefore, it affects your plan resources differently than a file-based site like custom PHP\/HTML or WordPress. See <a data-click-id=\"hgr-post-content-link-whats-the-difference-between-hostinger-ai-builder-and-other\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hostinger.com\/support\/12038409-hostinger-ai-builder-what-s-the-difference-between-and-other-cms\/\">what&rsquo;s the difference between Hostinger AI Builder and other CMS<\/a> for more on this distinction.<\/p><ul>\n<li><strong>Disk quota<\/strong>: AI Builder sites do not consume any of the hosting plan&rsquo;s disk space allocation<\/li>\n<li><strong> Inodes<\/strong>: Builder sites do not count toward your inode limit.<\/li>\n<li><strong>File storage<\/strong>: The standard File Manager in Hostinger dashboard is reserved for custom PHP or HTML websites and does not interact with your AI Builder content. Instead, all supported files for manual mode are managed through the <a data-click-id=\"hgr-post-content-link-media-library\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hostinger.com\/support\/7171600-hostinger-ai-builder-manual-mode-media-library\/\">Media Library<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul><h2 id=\"h-alternatives-for-custom-file-management-for-manual-mode\">Alternatives for custom file management for manual mode<\/h2><p>If your project requires more flexibility or large-scale file handling not supported by the Media Library, you can host files on separately using the following methods:<\/p><ul>\n<li><strong>External providers<\/strong>: Upload files to services like Google Drive or Dropbox and adjust the sharing permissions.
