At Hostinger, there are two types of email services that can be provided with your Web or Cloud hosting plan: Hostinger Email<\/b> or Titan Email<\/b>. Your hosting plan will include only one of them. <\/p>

Since they have different parameters<\/b> and management interfaces<\/b>, you may want to identify your type of email. <\/p>

Email Service Type<\/h2>

To verify which is your email service type, go to the Emails<\/a> <\/b>section on hPanel:<\/p>

And check the details below the Plan Name. If Hostinger Email<\/b> is free, it will be listed as ‘Free Email<\/b>.’ For paid Hostinger Email plans, it will show either ‘Business Starter<\/b>‘ or ‘Business Premium<\/b>.<\/p>

For Titan Email<\/b>, it has the Titan logo next to the plan name:<\/p>

In case you have purchased Google Workspace<\/b>, you will see the Workspace logo instead. If you have a cPanel hosting plan<\/b>, you will be using cPanel Email<\/a><\/b>.<\/p>

If you upgrade your Hostinger<\/a><\/b> or Titan<\/a> <\/b>email plan, the type of service and icon stay the same.<\/p>\n<\/div>

Email Sending Options<\/h2>

One more aspect to take into consideration is that you have different options for sending emails<\/b>, each using different technologies for delivery 👇 <\/p>

Custom PHP Scripts<\/h3>

If you send emails using the Sendmail <\/b>or phpmail()<\/b> function without connecting to external email providers, it means that you use the default<\/b> Web hosting emails<\/b>. <\/p>

\n<\/p>

You can recognize them from the sender name, which is a server email address, for example, u123456789@srv999.main-hosting.eu<\/code>.<\/p>

In this case, we recommend you switch to PHPMailer<\/a><\/b> for better functionality and deliverability.<\/p>

When sending emails through email clients, or utilizing custom scripts, plugins<\/a><\/b>, or contact forms<\/a> <\/b>requiring SMTP<\/a><\/b>, remember to configure them accordingly to your email service type:<\/p>
