Backing Up Your Site<\/h2>

First of all, it’s always a good practice to create a backup for WordPress<\/a>, in case you want to restore your website someday. While there are plenty of viable methods, the easiest way is to utilize hPanel’s Backups<\/strong> feature, which you can locate by searching Backups <\/strong>in the Hosting<\/strong> tab.<\/p>

Once there, scroll down, and press Select <\/strong>under the Generate new backup<\/strong> section. When prompted for confirmation, click Proceed<\/strong>.<\/p>

On the list, find the most recent MySQL Database<\/strong> and Website Files<\/strong>, then select Prepare to Download<\/strong> each of them. The number of files depends on how many MySQL databases you have etc.<\/p>

However, do keep in mind that this action will save your account data in its entirety. If you just want to back up your WordPress files, do so by copying the public_html<\/strong> folder via a File Manager<\/a>. <\/p>

Right-click on the folder to select Download<\/strong>, and choose the format of your preference.<\/p>

Once it’s completed, you can locally save the archive by right-clicking on it or by pressing the Download<\/strong> button from the upper menu.<\/p>

How to Uninstall WordPress by Hosting Service?<\/h2>

  1. Log in to your hPanel and open the Auto Installer<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. In the Installed Applications<\/strong>, click on the three dots<\/b> next to your WordPress URL and press Delete<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>

      How to Uninstall WordPress Manually?<\/h2>

      To uninstall WordPress the manual way, it’s possible to do so via the File Manager or an FTP client<\/a>. Although we’re using the first tool in the following example, the process is similar should you opt for the latter.<\/p>

      Navigate to File Manager <\/strong>in your hPanel and access the public_html<\/strong> directory to manually delete WordPress.<\/p>

      Before we proceed with the removal, though, save the website’s database name from the wp-config.php<\/strong> file for later.<\/p>

      Erasing the WordPress Database<\/h2>

      Although the software is no longer there, the database still remains. So, let’s remove it as well to uninstall WordPress thoroughly.<\/p>

      Navigate to the MySQL Databases<\/strong> section, then locate the name you’ve noted before and select the three dots<\/b> next to it. Finish by selecting Delete<\/strong>.<\/p>
