Optionally, specify the port number &ndash; <strong>21<\/strong> for FTP or <strong>22 <\/strong>for SFTP.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Encryption. <\/strong>When opting for a standard FTP connection, choose between two FileZilla encryption methods &ndash; <strong>Explicit<\/strong> for securing connections on request or <strong>Implicit <\/strong>for automating encryption from the start.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Logon Type<\/strong>. Select the appropriate logon type. <strong>Ask for password<\/strong> is a secure option that asks for your password with each connection.
