If that&rsquo;s so, you only need to replace the faulty file with the working one.<\/p><p>Here&rsquo;s how to restore the default <strong>.htaccess<\/strong> file:<\/p><ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Access your website&rsquo;s root folder (<strong>public_html<\/strong>) using an FTP or a File Manager. Alternatively, you can disable it by renaming the file to something else.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create a new <strong>.htaccess<\/strong> file for your WordPress site.<\/li>\n<\/ol><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-method-3-deactivating-themes-and-plugins\">Method 3: Deactivating Themes and Plugins<\/h3><p>Conflicting or corrupted plugins are another common culprit of the WordPress login redirect loop issue. Therefore, you need to deactivate the faulty plugin.<\/p><p>Here&rsquo;s how to troubleshoot the login redirect loop issue by deactivating your WordPress plugins:<\/p><ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Access your website&rsquo;s <strong>wp-content<\/strong> directory using an <strong>FTP <\/strong>or a <strong>File Manager<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rename the <strong>plugins<\/strong> folder to something else to deactivate all plugins. If this action solves the issue, that means you have a corrupted plugin. This way, WordPress can reaccess your plugins, but all of them are still inactive.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Login to your WordPress dashboard and head over to <strong>Plugins <\/strong>-&gt; <strong>Installed Plugins. <\/strong>Activate all plugins.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Logout from WordPress, and go back to your File Manager.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open the <strong>plugins <\/strong>directory, and disable the plugins one by one by renaming the corresponding folders. Each time you disable a plugin, try to login to your site and keep doing that until you find the one that causes the issue.<\/li>\n<\/ol><p>Similarly, a faulty custom theme can also disrupt your access to <strong>wp-admin<\/strong>. To confirm this suspicion, you need to revert the site to the default WordPress theme &ndash; <a href=\"https:\/\/wordpress.org\/themes\/twentyseventeen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Twenty Seventeen<\/a>.<\/p><p>Here&rsquo;s how to troubleshoot the login redirect loop issue by deactivating your WordPress theme:<\/p><ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Access your site&rsquo;s MySQL database via <strong>phpMyAdmin<\/strong>. If you&rsquo;re a Hostinger user, open your hPanel, go to <strong>phpMyAdmin <\/strong>and select your database.
