If you've made a backup of your database that you want to restore now, no worries, the process is very simple and almost fully automatic.
To start, locate the Import Database menu on your website's Control Panel.
In the first step of the process, select the database to which you will import your backup. Selecting a database that already has information stored on it, will replace the existing information with the information stored in your backup.
On step 2, click Upload Database to select the backup file from your PC. The backup has to be either .gz, .gzip or .sql. The maximum supported size of the backup is 100MB.
- You can also restore your database manually via phpMyAdmin. Check out our detailed and easy to use tutorial here: https://www.hostinger.com/tutorials/mysql/restoring-mysql-database-from-backup-phpmyadmin
