For example, <strong>.us<\/strong> is a <a href=\"\/ca\/tld\/us-domain\">domain for the United States<\/a>, <strong>.jp<\/strong> for Japan, <a href=\"\/ca\/tld\/co-uk-domain\"><strong>.co.uk<\/strong> domain<\/a> is for the United Kingdom.<\/li><li><strong>Generic top-level domains (gTLD)<\/strong> &ndash; primarily intended for a specific purpose.
