Impactful, necessary, and exactly what you&rsquo;d expect.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Others are rebuilding the tools they normally pay for, this time with the features that were always missing.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Across all projects, the categories sort into a clear picture &ndash; some quick and light, others a lot more involved. They&rsquo;re a quick reflex: someone has a product, an event, or an idea, and they need a page for it with all the details. Nothing fancy, but highly effective.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">None of this is what gets all the AI hype. It&rsquo;s much less eye-catching than the AI agents booking flights and clearing inboxes that fill most of the headlines.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hand people a tool that can build almost anything, and most of them build a site that helps their business get found and paid. These are things businesses have always needed, and AI Builder mostly makes them quicker and cheaper to get.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-heaviest-builds-are-things-people-used-to-rent\">The heaviest builds are things people used to rent<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some people are going further and building the software their company pays a monthly bill for: internal business tools, admin dashboards, analytics dashboards, CRMs.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And these are the heaviest builds anyone makes. Internal business tools average 11.5 credits per published project &ndash; close to double what a typical business site takes. Admin dashboards and CRM tools run around 10.3; analytics dashboards near 9.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Between them, internal tools and admin dashboards alone account for more than 30,000 projects.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&rsquo;s not hard to guess why some are going down this path. Off-the-shelf software makes you bend your process to fit the tool: the CRM that won&rsquo;t track that one thing your team needs, the dashboard that can&rsquo;t quite bend to show what you want, the per-seat bill that climbs whether or not anyone logs in.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Building your own turns that around. A working internal tool used to mean a vendor, a contract, and a technical team, and months before anyone saw a result. Now it can be an afternoon.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">That doesn&rsquo;t mean it&rsquo;s the death of software companies. Course platforms and knowledge bases, booking systems for salons and clinics, portfolios, community apps, forums. The full spread of the web, made by describing it.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not every project rolls off the line the way a landing page does, though. Two categories are the most likely to sit unfinished, for different reasons.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Online stores are the first: more than 40,000 of them, at a moderate 6.3 credits each. A store is one of the few builds that can&rsquo;t go live empty.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before it opens, it needs real products loaded in, payments connected, stock entered, photos good enough to sell from.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AI Builder can have the storefront ready in an afternoon, but it can&rsquo;t take those photos or stock those shelves for you. That&rsquo;s why a lot of stores sit half-finished, waiting for the real world to catch up.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">AI tools are the second: assistants, chatbots, generators. They have the lowest finish rate of anything, published just under half the time on a fairly involved build of around 9 credits.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A low finish rate makes sense here. When trying an idea costs this little, plenty of people build something to see whether it works. Sometimes it does and they launch it, and often it stays an experiment.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-what-all-this-adds-up-to\">What all this adds up to<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Step back from the categories and the same thread runs through all of them. A booking page for a plumber, a CRM that finally tracks the one field you care about, a chatbot for a specific job.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Different builds, same instinct: someone had a specific problem and made the thing that solved it.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most people want a website for their business, and now they get one faster and cheaper than before.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Others are building the tools and systems they need instead of trying to fit an existing product into their workflow.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Everyone already knows AI can build pretty much anything. The newer part is that the person with the problem no longer has to wait for someone else to solve it.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You used to describe what you wanted to a developer and hope what came back was close enough.
